Amelia Earheart was one of americans strongest and most heroic women.  As she was and still is an amazing role model for all women.
She was born on july 24 1897 in atchison Kansas to parents Edwin and Amy Earnheart.  As a child she moved many times beacuse of her fathers job all over the midwest she lived in places such as Kansa City Des Moise Chicago and St Paul.  She graduated from high school in 1915.  After just one year of collage she decided to move to tornto and become a volunteer aid detachment nurse at the Spadina millitary hospital.  She worked here for several years while there she visited a local airfeild which she liked avidley.  This is were she developed her first intrest in aviation. Only to fly in her first airplane in December 1920.  In May 2003 she rquired her airplane piolits license.She later received her National Aeronotics Piloits degree she was the first women to do so.  Her parents got divorced three years later.  She then moved to Boston where she became Vice President of the National Aerontics Association.  In April of 1928 she received a call from Hilton H. Riley Who asked if she would like to be the be the first women to cross the atlantic by air.  She joined Wilmur Schultz and Louis Gordon on a flight around 1n 1928.  She returned greatly popular she wrote her first book during this time.
